VIP

So this weeks VIP is Hunter, so I'm just going to ramble on some of my thoughts and things about him. Again these are just things I want to remember and share when he's older.
The thing about Hunter is from the day that he was born he has always been a fighter. Born with health problems he has been through a lot in his tender years. But that is what makes Hunter this strong independent little boy whom we love so much.
Hunter says some of the funniest things, once when his little brother was needing to apologize to him, Hunter said I can't hear you, of course we told yes you can and then he proceeded to explain why he couldn't hear, you see he said "I'm a little boy with little ears and I can't hear him."
The other day he asked me for a kiss and a hug in which I replied "I love hugs and kisses" which he responded with "Oh yeah those are my favorite."
During family scriptures or family home evening Hunter always seems distracted and not listening, but then he'll come out and say things like about Ammon and the Lamanites. Bye the way Hunter is obsessed with Lamanites, he told me he wanted a gun in case he runs into a Lamanite. So apparently he is listing and knows that the Lamanites were not always the good guys in the scriptures.
We can't imagine not having him in our family after coming so close to losing him more than once. What joy he brings us and we love him with all our hearts.

Yay for Hunter! We miss having him here. The other kids in preschool still ask about him.
I was surprised that you didn't mention anything about how much he loves transformers. It seems like whenever I asked him something in class, he always tied the answer to transformers. (What letter is this, Hunter? It's B! B for Bumblebee!)

The Lamanite thing is hilarious. Thanks for sharing!

Loved your post about Hunter! He is so dang cute! I loved it at Christmas when he sat next to me at the table and pointed to me with a grin on his face letting Andrew know he got to sit by me instead of Andrew! Such a funny little guy!!

He is very cute, I thought it was so neat that first year we had Christmas at your house, how he would only let McKayla touch him when he was upset. I also thought it was so cute, that he wanted to play a game of who got to told McKayla's hand. We have so much fun and love our nephew!
